A Customer Service Representative (CSR) in the insurance industry is pivotal in providing stellar customer service. This role involves addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering detailed information about insurance policies and claims. The CSR acts as an essential bridge between the insurance company and its clientele, aiding in customer satisfaction and retention.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Offer accurate information on policies, coverage, premiums, and claims.
  • Guide clients in selecting suitable insurance products.
  • Process applications, and update policyholder information.
  • Assist in policy renewals and premium payments.
  • Support policyholders through the claims process.
  • Document claim information and coordinate with relevant departments for resolution.
  • Address and resolve complaints and discrepancies.
  • Ensure customer needs are met in line with company policies.
  • Stay informed on insurance products, regulations, and trends.
  • Simplify insurance terms for policyholders.
  • Keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Adhere to data protection and confidentiality guidelines.
  • Identify and promote additional coverage or products beneficial to the customer.
