Personal Line Customer Service Representative

Job Description :

We are seeking a dedicated Personal Line Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. In this role, you will be the frontline of support for our customers, assisting them with their personal insurance policies and financial products. Your primary goal will be to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain strong customer relationships.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Customer Assistance: Provide help to customers with inquiries, requests, and issues related to personal insurance policies (such as auto, home, or health insurance) and financial products (like loans or credit cards).
Policy Information: Offer information about insurance policies, coverage options, terms, conditions, and premiums. Assist customers in choosing the right coverage for their needs.
Claims Processing: Support customers in filing insurance claims, guide them through the claims process, and follow up on claim status to ensure resolutions are efficient and smooth.
Billing and Payments: Address billing inquiries, process payments, and assist in setting up payment plans as necessary.
Policy Changes: Help customers with adjustments to their insurance policies, including coverage modifications and updating contact information.
Complaint Resolution: Resolve customer complaints and concerns in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Documentation: Keep accurate records of customer interactions, policy changes, and other relevant information in the company’s database or CRM system.
Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company's products, services, and industry trends.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all interactions and processes.
Communication Skills: Utilize exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively assist customers.
Empathy and Patience: Demonstrate empathy and patience in dealing with customer concerns and issues.
Problem Solving: Analyze customer problems and identify solutions or escalate issues when necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

Proven experience in customer service, preferably in insurance, banking, or financial services.
Strong understanding of personal insurance policies and financial products.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of CRM systems and proficiency in MS Office or equivalent software.
Commitment to regulatory compliance and attention to detail.
